Manners Make The Difference
A Little Bit About Us
Our professional careers have always focused on helping people to be the best and truest versions of themselves. To say that our work has been gratifying beyond all measure would be an understatement.

For the past 30 years, we have had the privilege of teaching Manners, Social Skills, and Social Ballroom Dancing to youngsters throughout Fairfield County. Although many things have changed during that time, the endless benefits to the students of possessing such social skills remain unchanged. We pride ourselves on adapting our sessions to make them relevant to the different age groups with which we work.

In addition to our programs for youngsters, we have also been turning cold feet into dancing feet with our Ballroom Magic Dance Classes and Dance Parties for Adults.
Our lives as dance instructors have been further enriched over the past 10 years by being able to share our self-designed Music and Movement program with seniors in assisted living facilities. And so, notably, our work over the years has allowed us the opportunity to engage people of all ages in a myriad of settings.

The advent of COVID a few years ago, though certainly fraught with negative consequences, nevertheless afforded us the opportunity to expand on our efforts to spread comfort and, yes, even joy to those in our dance community family. With input from our adult students and dance party participants, we compiled and published a collection of personal stories relating the importance of “dance” in their lives and how they individually coped with the difficulties of the restrictions imposed on us in all walks of life. We titled this volume Dancing Out of the Dark. Though its contents concentrate on ‘ballroom dancing’, as stated in its closing words, it carries a message of “…a brighter light to lead us into the future.

In our children’s programs, we endeavor to shine that brighter light on our students.
